Mad Shatter (STASH 1 / CONCENTRATE)
Alrighty Stonerds! Let’s shine a light on another one of the bonus thank you PROMO cards released to those who backed the first Kickstarter set, Mad Shatter. Mad Shatter definitely comes in as one of my favorite arts of all the PROMO cards which says a lot because they’re all so awesome! Coming in with a strong base attack of 270 and a base defense of 180 Mad Shatter, as tough as it may be to pull off, is worth the three tributes it costs to plant on the field being a monster once you get it out there. While there isn’t much in the way of the sole Concentrate buff cards you shouldn’t need a whole lot more with this beast.
One of my favorite strategies I will always mention when talking about high THC% Level Concentrate CannaBeasts is combining Cloud Nine with Golden State Banana for a one two punch of searching your stash for a Concentrate followed by transplanting it on the field without having to pay the three-tribute cost of a normal planting. This can instantly give you a massive leg up in the game by instantly having one of the strongest CannaBeasts on the field without cost, especially if your field is already loaded, and potentially letting you pile on the attacks directly to your opponent’s pounds.
Mad Shatter: Pairs well with
Cloud Nine: Select one Concentrate card from your deck and add it to your hand. You can't draw a card next turn. (Nutrient, Stash 3)
Golden State Banana: Transplant 1 concentrate CannaBeast from your hand to the field. You can't plant a CannaBeast the turn this card is activated. (Nutrient, Stash 1)
Resin Coal: Increase the attack of one of your Concentrate CannaBeasts on the field by 50 for this turn. When this turn ends, the selected CannaBeast is sent to the ashtray. (Ambush, Stash 2) - I’m not a big fan of this card, it making you send your Beast to the ashtray afterwards, but in a pinch if it could give you the boost you need to win than it’s worth it.
Thanks Cannafam! Stay Stoney!
