Iron Leaf (STASH 3 / NUTRIENT)
Happy hump day Stonerds! Let’s shine a light on another one of the great Ambush cards from the Kickstarter set, Iron Leaf. Iron Leaf is an Ambush buff card focused on defensive CannaBeasts, when played Iron Leaf lets the player buff one of their beasts by 30 defense for the remainder of this current turn. This is almost always going to be a great play, it can give you the opportunity to deny your opponent a kill while simultaneously damaging their points.
Iron Leaf is a great addition into any stash that needs a little help on the defensive side of the game or even just an extra Ambush card to fill out the stash. With a stash limit of 3 Iron Leaf can definitely have a decent part to play in your success. Personally I think every stash could benefit from at least one Iron Leaf, you never know when it could mean the difference between a win or a loss. Iron Leaf is also a great play if your opponent uses a Switcheroo against one of your attacks, this may give you an opportunity to prevent the loss of a CannaBeast you may not be willing to part with essentially in exchange for a few pounds.
