Last Resort (STASH 3 / AMBUSH)
What’s good Stonerds? Let’s take a loot at another one of the great new Ambush cards from the 4th N 20 / NCL set, Last Resort. Last Resort is a stash 3 Ambush card that when played decreases the attack of one of your opponent’s CannaBeasts by 10. Being a unique card in giving you the opportunity to nerf your opponent’s CannaBeasts. What better way to bring their slightly stronger beast back onto your level than with breaking out the Last Resort.
Just like smoking out of a can, Last Resort should be your last resort for evening out the playing field. All jokes aside you can have a total of 3 in your stash and Last Resort likely won’t be the card that turns the tides for you. If able to pull it off at the right time though Last Resort could be the difference in your opponent’s Beast Mode being denied the strength to destroy your Fat Banana. More likely Last Resort will come in hand more for no tribute beasts, being a great play in the early game. Remember those close situations where your CannaBeast was destroyed by a difference of 5 or 10 pounds, well no more!!
This also works on the flipside of events, if you and your opponent are sporting the same strength CannaBeast this can be your in to get it off the field. This works best on your own turn when your opponent is denied the safety of Ambush Blocker as well as you having the opportunity to attack afterwards.

Those close calls where your opponent’s beast has the ever so slightest advantage.
