Genie in a Bong (STASH 3 / AMBUSH)

What’s good Stonerds?  Another one of the many great Ambush cards from the Kickstarter set, Genie in a Bong.  Genie in a Bong was heavily shown off in the early days of CannaBeast being included in all of the Kickstarter stashes with the exception of the Hybrid stash.  When played Genie in a Bong lets you draw a card when one of your CannaBeasts was destroyed by battle, in most cases being played on your opponent’s turn.  Drawing cards is always going to be welcome and Genie in a Bong gives you a solid consolation prize for losing a beast.  You’re going to lose CannaBeasts every game that you play so you might as well try and benefit from it if you can.

Honestly, I haven’t seen Genie in a Bong used much in competitive play outside of the Kickstarter stashes despite being a solid card.  A way to capitalize and get max effect out of your Genie in a Bong is to include them in a stash loaded with utility-esque CannaBeasts like Cotton Candy Kush where you can let yourself draw 2 cards at the end of your opponent’s turn, this can be a great play giving you 3 fresh cards after you draw.
