Aphids (STASH 1 / STONER)
My fellow Stonerds, hope you all had a fantastic weekend! Let’s shine a light on a CannaBeast that I include in every single Stash that I build, Aphids. These angry little bastards are even more vicious than they are in real life and there’s a reason I include them so frequently. Aphids ability “When this card is sent to the ashtray by battle, select one of your opponent’s CannaBeasts and send it to the ashtray,” is one of the top abilities in the game and makes Aphids one of the best showstopper/utility CannaBeasts to add to your Stash.
Aphids is essentially a defensive bait removal CannaBeast best used to destroy one of your opponent’s CannaBeasts that is giving you trouble. Try not to waste your Aphids and do your best to time its use on a high THC% level CannaBeast that your opponent will have little opposition using otherwise. Aphids can be a game changer when used at the right time shattering your opponent’s momentum.
If your opponent plants their heavy hitter and you have several Beasts on the field that you really don’t want to lose, you can always attack your own Aphids to send it to the ashtray destroying your opponent’s CannaBeast of your choice and saving you collateral of waiting for your opponent to attack it (just make sure your Aphids is in defense so you don’t damage your own pounds.)
