Get ready to go Beastmode Stonerds! With Beastmode getting its pop announcement of 40 yesterday I just wanted to bring some attention to how awesome this card is going to be once we get our hands on it. Beastmode is going to be a staple in every Hybrid Stash coming up once it’s out there. With a base of 240 attack and defense it’s definitely going to be one of the top 1 tribute Hybrid CannaBeasts. Beastmodes only detractor is that it’s a Stash 1, but with its ability it makes a lot of sense. “When this card battles a CannaBeast with the same attack, this card isn’t destroyed. When this card battles a defending CannaBeast with a defense that matches this card’s attack, destroy the opponent’s CannaBeast.”
With an ability to essentially break ties, that puts it a leg up against a similar strength 1 tribute CannaBeast, Nosferatu. There’s only one other CannaBeast that can break ties, the Nug Cracker, and that’s only in defensive scenarios. Being able to win ties in attack is definitely going to push Hybrids further into their standing of the strain with some of the better options to build a great Stash from.
Getting to see some of these NCL cards up close just gets me even more excited for what’s to come. Keep your eyes open next week, Monday January 30th 12pm Est, when we can finally get our hands on some of these bangers!!

Humic Acid: As long as this card remains on the field, all Hybrid CannaBeasts you control gain 30 attack and 30 defense. (Nutrient, Stash 3)
